Jordan Thompson, Smoke and Mirrors Restaurant's chef patron, is a multi award winning chef who has been in the industry for 18 years. Starting his culinary experience at 14 years old, Jordan began as a kitchen porter in Portsmouth's Sur La Mer. This initial experience in a kitchen sparked Jordan's passion for food. He continued to work within the industry in kitchens recommended by the Michelin Guide, furthering his career to head chef within West Sussex, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. His creative excellence in the culinary industry was recognised by multiple celebrity chefs, whom Jordan was mentored by.

After working alongside Marco Pierre White as his executive chef for three years, Jordan has brought his extensive skill set and knowledge back to his hometown in Portsmouth. Jordan strives to introduce innovative and signature dishes to Smoke and Mirrors Restaurant.
